Kehilat Shalom Calgary wishes to advise its members, and the Jewish community of Calgary, that it intends to hold this year’s High Holiday services in-person. This decision to come together physically for the High Holidays was made after careful consideration by the Kehilat Shalom Board of Directors. The congregation is currently preparing plans to conduct its services in such a manner as to prevent potential transmission of COVID-19. We shall adhere to best practices and reasonable precautions to make such services feasible. This may entail specific congregational requirements (e.g., related to physical distanacing and use of facemasks or shields), as well as changes to the structure, duration, and location of services. All such considerations are subject to government regulations and public health measures. We will continue to keep you apprised of our High Holiday service plans, and all related developments.
