NEW- Bar/Bat-Mitzvah Program

Tuesdays, 6:00-7:45pm 
April 25 – June 13, 2017
For all current and prospective b’nai mitzvah students 2017-2018 and 2018-2019.
The group program will take place on Tuesday evenings with instruction by Rabbi Leonard Cohen.
​Evenings will begin with pizza dinner, in which students and parents can socialize with one another, to be followed by program classes. The curriculum will focus on Jewish knowledge and skills development – e.g., Hebrew readings, songs and prayers – for synagogue participation and prayer service leadership, with a focus on the Bar/Bat Mitzvah.

Havdalah Pajama Party
Saturday, December 3, 6:00 - 7:30- PM
Calgary Jewish Community Centre

Kehilat Shalom invites you to a Havdalah celebration Family Service, led by Rabbi Leonard Cohen, on Saturday, December 3, at the Calgary Jewish Community Centre. This will be a child oriented event, focusing on crafting a havdalah set - Havdalah, Songs, Crafts and Snack. Please arrive by 6 PM.
